How Do I Earn an IICRC Certification?

To earn an IICRC certification, there are 3 easy steps to follow!

Step 1: Determine the course you want to take

There are many certifications available to choose from. From Water Restoration Technician (WRT), to Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT), to Contents Processing (CPT), and many more!

Step 2: Attend the IICRC-approved certification course

After you determine the course you want to take, register for a class date and attend the course! Most IICRC courses can be taken online in a live-stream class. This means it is a live class with an instructor and other students (we use Zoom).

Step 3: Take and pass the certification exam

After taking the course, you will take the exam. Once you pass the exam, the IICRC will issue your brand new certification to you! If your course is online, the exam is taken online after class ends. If you take an in-person course, the exam is taken on the last day of class.
